We should build the fence, get rid of the criminal aliens, and assign these jobs that Americans just won't do to the liberals. This would be a good start. ;D I'm with Rick.

Info. for Krell- I had mentioned in an earlier post that Bob Marshall was running for the R Senate seat in 2008 against another R Jim Gilmore in Virginia. Doing more research on Bob Allen, I don't think he has a snowball's chance in hel- of getting anywhere. He reminds me of Huckabee on social issues, but does have additional conservative positions which I like. He falla apart with his position as an environmental and I read he believes we are occupiers in Iraq. Poo Poo Marshall. Jim Gilmore (R) who most likely will win the nomination at Virginias convention is better known, has more campaign money, but does support abortion in the first tri-mester. He was a former governor and did in fact decrease taxes in the state. He is now polling 37% to Mark Warner 57%. For every seat Gilmore ran for in the state (several) he was considered the underdog to very popular dems. and won sometimes with wide margins. Another R congressman in VA is Eric Cantor who just won re-election in the 2006 dem. takeover. I checked his voting record and he has consistently voted for our conservative principles. He is the Chief Deputy Repub. Whip in Congress. Eric Cantor- www.ericcantor.com He has a great website and you can blog there. Jim Gilmore- www.info@jimgilmoreforsenate.com Phone- (703) 504-9041 Fax- (703) 504-9042, 631 S. Washington St., Alexandria, VA 22314. This is a very important race as Gilmore would replace John Warner. Eric Cantor-

On the Join Now and Feedback Links after I fill them in it tries to go to my Outlook to send it. I clicked Opitions but again Outlook was the only thing that came up there. Many of us use web based e-mail and do not use Outlook or similar software. Can this be corrected? Other websites are the same way but most will let it go through without Outlook. Thanks sbenn- I have rewritten the scripts for the "Register" and "Feedback" on the "Join Us" pages. When you fill out the "Register" or "Feedback" and click on "Submit" it should take you to a redirect page to acknowlege the entry; after 10 seconds it will redirect back to the "Join Us" page.

I was thinking that a recommended reading list might be a good feature to add to the website - Books, regular news letters or magazines (and maybe links to purchase them). Maybe we can even share or do a book discussion? For starters, I would recommend the following:
Hillsdale College's IMPRIMUS (free newsletter) The Politically Incorrect Guide to Science (Tom Bethell) An Inconvenient Book (Glenn Beck) Anything by William F. Buckley

Can we put out a questioneer asking voters to answer some basic questions in order to have at least a grasp of the Constitution and what their selected candidate represents?

I think there should be a checklist in evaluating candidates' records and proposals. The candidates should be judged against the First Principles:
1. Individual Liberty 2. Personal Responsibility 3. Free Markets 4. Limited Government 5. Federalism 6. Protecting Our Country 7. Traditional American Values 8. The Rule of Law 9. Conserving Our Nation's Resources
A simple "Yes" or "No" would do for each principle, along with some support for each answer.

If you go to the "Call to Action" page, the Congressional Races and Senatorial races on the sub menu, you will find a small banner "Write to Congress" where you put your zip code in. This will tell you your various legislators and how to contact them. When you enter the additional 4 numbers to your zip it will bring up a long check list of how your representatives have voted on different legislation. It is also a score card. It is sponsored by GOPUSA. Thank you for your suggestion because it reminded me to add that.

I was just looking at the Thompson Coalition Website, at the First Principles Page. I would really like to have a nice printable version of that page, something that I can frame. (If Fred can sign copies, even better )
