It is pathetic that more Americans do not exercise their right to vote. Even more pathetic is they seem to think it is their right to complain about the outcome. Well said. I could not agree more and as a vet that spent time defending that right it really p i s s e s me off when I hear people say they don't bother to vote because it doesn't matter anyway! And I do hear that a lot in NY.

I wrote my first letter since the election to my representative, Lincoln Davis (d) who was re-elected. I certainly did not cover all the subjects I have in mind but covered those most important. I also want to write again soon about taxes and our conservative radio shows. Here is what I sent today:
To the honorable Lincoln Davis,
Now that we are privileged to have you again to represent us for the next term, I want to make sure you will stay with the principles of your state, especially here in your district. I am worried about the things that are being spoken of on news programs I want to make sure you know that I and everyone I know have not changed on our views of life beginning at conception and stem cell research. We know that our president elect is much more liberal then you have ever been. I know you know you represent a God fearing part of the nation, lovingly called the Bible Belt and we want our Constitution upheld.
Matter of fact, across the nation, the majority has spoken when given a chance. American people do not support but are against stem cell research. We do not want people to abort people to save other people!
You also heard last year loud and clear how we feel about the illegal immigration and want to know you will still stand with us there.
We want to finish the war that we have almost won in Iraq and not let the deaths of our men and boys be in vain. Let's bring them home in victory. Give them time to finish please.
You have voted correctly in the past. Please do not let us down under the pressure of the new administration. We are counting on you to represent us.

Creationist (and everyone), This is what we must all do as soon as possible and often to make sure that our president elect does not change where our re-elected officials have stood in the past.
Also the new ones have to realize where we stand. They will not know if we do not tell them!
There is no time to dwell on the past we must work toward the future

That is an excellent letter sbenn. You are so right. We must continue to let the elected officials know where we stand and work toward the future. Most excellent.

I am not going to sit by silently as Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid re-make our nation in their liberal image. That's why I just joined a grassroots conservative effort to RESIST Obama's liberal agenda. Please go here to join with me: www.grassfire.org/111/petition.asp?PID=18959156&NID=1Thanks! James Hawkins

I wrote a letter to my 2 senators and congressmen.
Write yours today also!
As my representative to our great state, I want to beg you to stand firmly for the one thing that can turn our economy around immediately!
It would end unemployment and make a job for everyone.
It would save the government millions of dollars in social programs, millions in prison costs and millions in public hospital costs. It would lower the costs of drugs and doctor bills to citizens. It would keep billions of dollars being spent out of our nation here at home being spent locally!
It will require no new bills or laws but only enforcement of local ones. I am sure you have guessed the answer to this simple solution by now!
It not, here it is plain and simple. Stop illegal immigration and stop allowing the businesses to hire these people. Stop allowing them to get benefits started for citizens and paid for by citizen's tax dollars. The laws are on the books. Enforce them and we will see an instant turn around in the economy.
Charity begins at home. The Bible says that a man that will not care for his own family is worse then an infidel.
We are your family. Care for us!
You know this is the will of the American people. You know this is the will of the people of our state. We have made it plain in the past. Act now before it is too late and the 20 million illegals are given some type of amnesty and allowed to bring in more. Save our jobs for Americans and legal immigrants checked out and safe contributors to our nations. Get rid of the others.
Thank you for listening. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

I wrote my senators, congressman, the GOP and the president a letter.
I told them the things needed to improve the economy were to put our citizens to work by enforcing immigration laws and not allowing anyone here illegally to work.
I told them to stop the bailouts and to stop getting us deeper in debt which devalues our dollar.
I meant to copy it hear but forgot to save it. Anyway write today yourselves about something! Let them hear from us.
