Please folks, take a minute to contribute to the Thompson Coalition cause. It takes money to start anything, and the same holds true for the website. Krell, has purchased new faster server space, software and misc. for the Thompson Coalition website. Let's all send something, no matter how small it may be, I promise you, it WILL help!!! Please, click here for a short few minutes of your time, and a few dollars WELL SPENT, you will be glad you did! www.amazon.com/paypage/PSFYSTXJ322C0p.s. I just sent some, and it took me 6 minutes... ;D Bring a buddy to the site! Tell a friend!

Tonight I will post a very special offer for all that contribute to the Thompson Coalition. The Thompson Coalition is teaming up with Pinnacle-Cascade Productions to present this special offer to contributors. I will modify this post tonight. Stay tuned. I appologize. I was busy working on the special offer and forgot I needed to post it here. I want everyone to feel they have received something tangible from the Thompson Coalition web site. As many of you know I enjoy taking photographs around the Pacific Northwest. Many of you have visited www.pinnaclecascade.com and gotten a glimpse of the over 18,000 pictures I have taken. I started a project 2 1/2 years ago which is finally nearing completion. Soon, I will be releasing my video, "My Back Yard" which is a musical and photographic (and video) journey through the Pacific Northwest. The video will be sold through the Pinnacle web site. I am in the process of completing production on 100 "Gold" copies of the video. There will only be 100 copies of this edition made and no more. This is a gold colored light scribe edition. The commercial editions will be a thermo ink colored disc. Everyone that contributes $25.00 or more at the Thompson Coalition web site will receive a copy of the "Gold" edition. And, as a bonus, to Thompson Coalition contributors "ONLY", you will also receive a CD of my 50 favorite photos in approximately 3072 x 1800 + pixel resolution. This is the same resolution that I print these photos in 16"x20" and 18"x24". The printed and mounted photos sell for $175.00 each at art and photography shows. You can use the photo disc to set up as a screen saver on your personal home computer (I am including a read me file on the disc to help). You can print out the photos and mount them as long as it is for your personal home use only. You may not print them and sell them nor give them away. This disc is strictly for your personal, private, home use only. Thompson Coalition contributors are the only people that will receive the photo disc. The sale of the DVD at Pinnacle is a stand alone sale. You can get an idea of some of what is on the DVD by going to www.pinnaclecascade.com/coming.html - the Coming Soon page. The video clip is diminished quality for quick Internet loading. So, I included higher resolution photos on that page that depict what is in that short clip. Here is how it works. When you contribute on the Amazon Honor System link you will receive a confirmation number. You have seven days to cancel it. If you do not cancel the contribution, after seven days send an email, with name, address and confirmation number, to videooffer@thompsoncoalition.com . People that contributed previously will be sent an email requesting their name and address for mailing of the Video and Photo Discs. The videos and photo discs will be available after 5/23/08.Note: On the video there are a few Gaffenburg effects that last a couple of seconds. Gaffenburg effect is when you have a bright spot, deep white, or many lines, in a still and add motion to it, it gives a twinkle effect. It isn't 100% perfect. But those who have beta tested it for me have returned excellent rave reviews.

Well, I discovered I could fit more pictures on the Disc. So, the disc will contain 136 of my photos. But I have also added a bonus surprise to the pictoral disc.
This is in addition to receiving the DVD, "My Back Yard"

Happy Mothers Day to me! Krell, it almost seems terrible that you have to give your hard work and talent away for a donation for the Thompson Coalition. Please don't get me wrong, I will love your artistery and your capture of some magnificient sites. I just think that people need to be more into the cause rather than the Freebies! That is what got us into this gigantic mess in our country- people with their hands out! I will love your work, but would have preferred that it was a full price for your work and talent. I know that you know what I mean I would have bought a solo picture to bring the gas tank up to the tremendous cost to maintain the Thompson Coalition site. You my dear sweet man are very generous. I will cherish your works.

I think, we should all ignore the "suggested" minimum of $25, and give what we can, to help fill the ole red truck!!! ;D ;D

Greetings from Kansas City, Missouri. Wow, it is really weird to wake up and not see mountains. I will be very busy visiting with my three new granddaughters all born over the past year. They are just going to have to move out West to be closer to their paw-paw. My secret for dealing with grand kids is Oreos and ice cream ;D ;D ;D I will be back next week.
