I call on Congress to permit drilling in ANWR.
I call on Congress to permit the development of domestic oil shale and other domestic energy sources.
I call on Congress to permit drilling in the Outer Continental Shelf.
Americans want energy independence and expect Congress to begin working toward that goal today!
Telling us that it will take 5-10 years is unacceptable. Begin now!
Stop allowing America to be held hostage by the Middle East!
I am sick to death of listening to members of congress and the senate complain about the price of oil, blaming it on " global warming" ( the junk science phenom ) blaming the " evil oil companies " all while holding up the ability to drill in " OUR COUNTRY" ( yours and mine, not just yours ) ALLOW US TO DRILL in OUR Country !!! We can't wait any longer the price of fuel drives up the cost of everything else in this country i.e. the food that we eat and the clothes that we wear the cost to heat our homes etc. If you value my vote you will move forward and act now to ensure we begin producing oil in new site locations in this counrty as well as build new refineries, if you do not value my vote then please feel free to do nothing and I promise you you will not have my vote for your next term!!!
I just wrote this to all of my congress men and women as well as my senators and the president, please take the time to do this as energy independence will take actually using the resources in our own country.

I say we retake the House and Senate. Put people like McCain, Pelosi, Reed, Graham and company out to pasture for the pathetic mess they have made. Fire them. Fire them all now and bring the government back within the framework of the Constitution.

I'll have to find it but I read on one of the blogs I frequent that if you apply Pelosi's math for halting purchases for the Strategic Reserve to drilling in just I think it was ANWR or that new find in ND (?) gas prices would be in the $2.50 range. I'll try and look it up when I have time.
The other thing that needs to be done is that the oil companies need to start drilling the resources they have now. (If it's true that they have resources in the US not being utilized that legally could be.)
The final thing is we need to start pointing out to the enviro-terrorists that countries in Europe that are environmentally conscious have no problems with off-shore drilling.
And I also read something about other countries planning to drill off the Keys thanks to the Cubans and those in the U.S. opposed us drilling off-shore there have no problem with it. WTF???

It's not just Congress. Apparently there are two orders blocking the drilling an executive and Congressional. GWB needs to take loosed-lip Harry up on his statement and rescind the executive order. Then the gas/oil problem truly is on the back of the liberals and enviro-terrorists.

Wasn't McCain opposed to drilling in ANWR up until recently? If subservient people like Gingrich and George W. Bush are making headway towards drilling in ANWR, then apparently their "bosses" are going to benefit. The oil barons and THEIR bosses will benefit, too, such as the Rockefellers and the World Bank.

Nothing will change until their "bosses" are out of the picture. We The People, better get a grip, and get busy.
