americanconservativeparty.org/A new voice for conservatives, since the GOP and FDT seem to have abandoned us? What if we all went over there and took over, we could build this party into something really special. Just a thought.

I go back to what Reagan said when approached about starting a third party.
“Is it a third party we need, or is it a new and revitalized second party, raising a banner of no pale pastels, but bold colors which makes it unmistakably clear where we stand on all of the issues troubling the people? Americans are hungry to feel once again a sense of mission and greatness.”
This was prior to his failed run in '76, which he used to propel himself to the nomination in '80. Proof that if you preach it long enough ...

Same speech, different quote...
Do not be afraid to see what you see. ~Ronald Reagan

And a good quote for the current situation. Instead of running scared from the Republican Party because of what has happened to it, stay a part of it and fight like hell to take it back. Rome wasn't built in a day and the Republican Party isn't going to return to the conservative principles championed by Reagan overnight or during one election cycle when some have started to wake up to what is happening.
How is running from the problems in the GOP any different from how the liberals/socialists run from the problems in this country instead of offering solid solutions?

It is my hope that those who decide to vote 3rd party still fight for the house and senate as well as local and state, period. It is my understanding that most I know will do just that! Just my opinion, there is way too much hype placed upon all presidential "elections", especially this one.

That's why rattlin' people's cages is funner than cowtippin' under a full moon. Don't matter what idiot you vote for to replace me; your vote don't really count. But you are a cagey fella rinoslayer tryin' to point people to vote where the real power is at. Most folks don't seem ta get it. The grand poohba can't spend a single dime (til' you give him $700 billion). Only Congress is authorized to spend money. The head hancho can't declare wars (until Iraq), only Congress can. The leader of the pack can't legislate (until I sat down with Ted, Harry and John to write illegal alien amnesty), only the Congress can. Hmm, so I would say the Prezidint is jus a figure head, mostly. He can only orchestrate if the band is filled with people like him. Hey, gotta run. My old pal John Kerry is taking me out for a ride in his gunboat tonight. I hate havin' to hear them lame made up purple heart stories; but the beer and fishin' are good.
