Dag Nab It-I so agree we wneed to communicate.Has anyone heard any of McCain's voters comment on exactly what it is they like about him ?Or dislike for that matter. How many are willing to admit on air or in print that they are holding their noses? People who call Rush and Levin are calling to comment or ask questions and if they disagree it's ususally respectably.I mean most are not going to call and be honest and say what they think, for real. Like I'mdisgusted by him but he canbeat Hillary and I'm afraid not to vote for him. Or I voted for him because the nice news man made him sound so good or very conservative. They don't really know anything about him. Ask your gas station attendent, grocery cashier, mailman, favorite waitress,or a young niece or nephew. My sister asked me which one I was voting for,Hillary or Obahma? She thought there were only 2 candidates left, and thought one of them was a republican. She knows I'm a loud and proud republican since Reagan ,she says. I hate to say it..ignorant. And she's a registered republican for the last 4 years and votes. She's not stupid but busy and politics is not on the top of her primary list of importance. She has 4 teenagers and 2 grown children and 6 grandchildren and works 40 hours with a disability and a disabled husband. They have been caught up in the housing garbage,of their own fault but still has to be dealt with. I told you about her because we all know someone or many people who are not stupid and they do care but just living is about all they handle. Her source of news is Fox in the A.M. for weather and at 10 before bed. How many of Americans are in this very routine and have as many problems and responsibility? Some Americans have this huge problem we have been discussing and don't even know it. And they vote.

Our only hope in all of this is to communicate what happens "Beyond Stage One," as Thomas Sowell would say, and to work our butts off to protect the institutions that made America great. Institution-changing is long-term, hard stuff, but we have to be patient and diligent to get our country back. Thoughts? Did anybody read all the way down here?!? This is my favorite thread here, and this part of Brad's post is my favorite part of it! This is what I am talking about. Action!!! Nothing worth having comes easy and Freedom ain't Free. Rinohunter, You mentioned Thomas Sowell! I am a HUGE Thomas Sowell fan!!!! If you haven't already, you MUST read his book, "Black Rednecks and White Liberals". I have learned so much from him! I stand corrected it was moved to parental consent section along with any and all photo biography books of war and racism. This lest is sent home if your child expresses an interest and you must sign and return a consent form for them to check them out. I would understand if it was grade school and not high school. Scary!

I've never read that book, but I do recommend Applied Economics: Thinking Beyond Stage One. It's not nearly as boring as it sounds, and, frankly, it's the kind of higher-level thinking with which we conservatives need to arm ourselves.

I have recently ordered America Alone. Then a very wise person told me it was an excellent book! Now, I must read Black Rednecks and White Liberals. Thanks Melissa!!! My favorite Rinohunter! You are so sweet! I know you will LOVE both of those books! In "Black Rednecks and White Liberals", you WON'T BELIEVE how much of what we learned in our liberal schools is UNTRUE!!!!! Do you know that today in schools, American history is taught only from the Civil War to Richard Nixon? They try to put it in kids' heads that the beginning of America is slavery. Kids today don't learn about the American Revolution? No George Washington. It sickens me!!!!

Sickens me too, Melissa. That is why I fight! Just like YOU and the rest of us! I am aware of what kind of indoctrination today's youth are getting. What happened to education? Same thing that is happening to all that is good. Socialist, New World Order folks are into everything, and it must stop!!! Don't you think we have had enough? It is our duty, and we have each other to lean on. Ain't it nice to have like minded Friends!!! Gotta run, see you soon! :-)

Melissa shame on you. It's The War Between The States. And George Washington was our 1st President, though he didn't really have any power or make landmark decisions .He was more a figure head because he didn't really want the position. This is straight from my sophamore's history book. By the way the caption under his picture reads "He was the first drafted leader called President in young America"

Perhaps it is becoming obvious to some of the FDT'ers that we are being eliminated from current calculations of the nomination. Huck boy is still pretending he has adult answers to serious questions and the MSM is resolutely committed to the Mac, therefore, Romney may have to spend his entire inheritence in order to keep the convention out of Mac's reach. Regardless, go to your state conventions and intervene for a new Federalist Faction in order to reorganize the conservative movement and put us in a position where we can get an 80% conservative instead of a 30% (Romney) or 10% (Mac) for presidential coandidate 4 years from today. We have 3 years to re-group starting now! Victory to the BOLD! jchoffman half moon bay , ca

Regardless of our passionate posts and enthusiasm, one fact stands tall! Fred drew the line in SC. Was it the line YOU were looking for or the line Fred drew? Fred did it his way and left after 2 terms in the senate! MSM and general public dumb masses think Fred is a lazy actor from law and order that said he wants to be POTUS! In SC Fred pounded the podiun 3 times and(fire in the belly) yelled STAND STRONG STAND STRONG STAND STRONG!!!!!!! Also understand that during his term in the Senate he had a family tragedy and that grealy influenced his decision not to seek re-election. I understand the "line in the SC sand" but in interviews prior to that primary Fred stated that he needed to do well. Was it good enough for him? Apparently not. But many of us are left wondering, at least I am, was this his "real" plan all along?? To show the country what a real conservative looks like and then back away so the differences in the RINO's would be glaring?? If so then I wish he would would just say that in some sort of message to his supporters. Or is this silence all part of some greater strategy? As somebody else pointed out, there was another candidate in history who dropped out of a race after 4 primaries, said absolutely nothing to anybody and then won the GOP nomination at the convention. Being a Federalist means doing things "the old fashioned way". The way they were originally (historically) intended. Could history be repeating itself? Why do other folks seem to think we will not hear from Fred until the convention?? Anyway...I digress. Just some speculation to stimulate thought.

Interesting perspective gwtwins.
As for McCain at CPAC he'll get the boos especially if he uses that Reagan video introduction he had created.

Everyone, fight McCain. Huck is far enough behind now he can just get us a brokered convention. Let everyone in the next two primary dates know every bad thing there is to know about him and urge real Republicans to get out and vote! Call talk shows, post in their newspapers and do anything to get the message out about the true McCain. Tell them not to let Independents and RINOs decide who will be our candidate.
Here is this Saturday's states: Kansas Caucus 39 delegates Louisiana Primary 47 delegates Washington Caucus 40 delegates
Here is next Tuesdays states: District of Columbia Primary 19 delegates Maryland Primary 37 delegates Virginia Primary 63 delegates
