I'm waiting to hear dbrown's input on Palin, being an Alaskan citizen. Alaskans, love Sarah and will miss her as Governor. She has been good for the state. Although, there is no word yet on her thoughts on criminal aliens. Sarah, is a pro-life, pro-gun huntress. OK, Krell, are you writing her in? ;D I'm (drool) writing what ever she wants (drool) Seriously (pant, pant). No, really, seriously I read somewhere today that she said, in an interview several months ago, that she is against amnesty but does not fully know the issues surrounding it because she did not have that issue to deal with in Alaska. I believe it was MSNBC article this morning.

She does at least make the mcBS banners tolerable, eh? ;D I like the fact she is good with weapons, like Our Sunshine! That, is a CONSERVATIVE woman! But, this does not mean that this is a good pick! I think McCFR is under a spell...

Huzzah, it worked! 1 our of 10 (today) ain't bad...er, yes it is. I'm trying once more, then I'm going to Disneyland.... By the way, I didn't get a chance to see if anyone was making tasteless jokes about the thwarted 'assination' plot in Denver (sic) such as whether these guys had a numbered bank account in Arkansas, (or Springfield for that matter, so Obama could again rescue us from thwarted Camelot dreams). But did anyone here of the euthanasia plot against McCain? I hope this isn't a joke doggone it.

Fellas, this here woman is the real deal. I love it that she's been called the Margret Thatcher of the North. She's Pentecostal so you won't see many pants suits unless she hunting, fishing, or visiting the military.

Several great posts on here concerning Palin, but I'm not afraid to say that I'll now support McCain and even vote for (not McCain) but the GOP ticket.
Junebug - no one here minds you supporting McCain - what people here hate is McCain supports saying that we all MUST support him because of Obama.
What I'd say to everyone - vote for who you want - but at least consider now voting for McCain because of Palin. I think her anti-corruption platform and record is alone worth voting for, everything else she stands for is icing on the cake!

[glow=red,2,300]I have read a report of a man in Florida arrested for plot against Obama and a seperate report of 3 men plotting against Obama. EVERYBODY that really cares(on either side) is nauseated this time. So there prolly are some plans out for McRaza. Just a thought outta my twisted little grey matter, could those folks being arrested be people that are " PATRIOTS" that are actually trying to take back their country and willing to suffer whatever the cost. But MSM(controlled by gubment) will spin it into psychopathic lunatics that did it for Jodie Foster[/glow]?

A dark thought. McCain and Palin win and sometime down the road they are litterally caught with their pants down... Impeachment of both and Nancy Pelosi is our new dictat.. er president. I can see that happening! McCain is known for his licentiousness, after all. If I were Palin, I would reject the offer immediately just because of his adulterous lifestyle. I would be afraid of him trying to seduce me!

What didn't post this morning, was one my reasons I've not been active here for awhile, that is, I've been busy with my Neighborhood Council status, since the winner of my district chose not to take the post, I'm keeping my hat in as an potential (and well qualified) appointee. The other reason, other than the B of A takeover of Countrywide, is that half the time my browser freezes when I post. But I couldn't resist forging in to see what the chatter might be on Palin. Like him or not, it's a masterful pick, although I know at least one Alaskan on this list hoped to keep her as Governor when her name was floated months ago. It definitely gives me the confidence that the lesser of two evils can do without my vote and still beat Obama...which gives me the freedom to vote third party, or even write in Fred. I'm sorry the browser's not working for you, and I'm glad you still may get to help your neighborhood out!

I really think Palin is serving as bait to win over the rest of those who still will not vote for McCain. You know, for a young fella that is still relatively new to politics, you sure have good insight. You are absolutely correct. McCain has no chance of winning without someone like Palin. But, even as some have said, this could be excellent for a future Presidential run if she does not get infected with traitor McCain's CFR crap. Now, those that have been around politics for a good many years have seen this done time and again. The experienced are not fooled by these ploys. If they are fed up with the same ole same ole they will do what was done to Bush Sr and we will end up with Osama Bin Bama. The only difference between McTraitor and Bama is their color - and that is it. Next thing we know, people are going to be even MORE excited about the idea of a strong leader like McCain being President!!! A few months ago, I felt like a normal person who just felt let-down about Fred's departure and considerably upset at the prospect of McCain as Pres. Now I feel like most others have lost their sanity by buying into the specious excuses about McCain, like "mostly pro-life" and "he'll keep us safe". And the change in feeling toward him is accelerating remarkably: first Rick Warren's farce, now a "conservative VP". And I don't necessarily believe Palin is a one-worlder--at least not yet. But if she were really one to make waves with plans, Rockefellers would never have picked her out. Rockefellers pick out the up-and-coming leaders in America, including George Marshall and Jimmy Carter.

Hello Fred Heads. I know its been a while since I actually wrote something, but I have been checking in from time to time. When I tell you that I've decided to back McCain you might not to talk to me again. I just heard that he chose Sarah Palin as his VP, which for me is a big move in the right direction. After Obama's speech last night I cannot sit by and let more damage happen to my beloved country. So I'm putting my support behind McCain/PALIN ( the emphasis on PALIN). I love you all, and I've learned so much from you. I know you join me in praying for the country whatever the outcome. Very respectfully, the Junebug I am with you, Junebug. I am not enthusiastic about McCain but I have learned a lot about Gov Palin today and I am very HAPPY and ENTHUSIASTIC about her. McCain is listening to us about what we want now. I am sure one of them who wrote and told him that we want a true conservatitive and if he picked a RINO he did not have a chance of winning. I will vote for McCain/Palin with much less regret now. I have to vote against Obama. He will be the worst thing for this country. Whoever, we choose to vote for as president has got to be an individual decision. Jointly we all agree that we MUST FIGHT HARD to get as many true conservatitives into congress and every other office as possible. On that we all agree. Post more often Junebug. We love having you here also!

I really think this VP pick may be what takes McCain down, for good. Something is wrong here. We are being dismantled as a decent society. Taken apart at the very core. The answer is We The People, and we need to get busier, and stay that way. Only we can save us, with God's help.
